About Intel Internship Program

Intel interns are continually surprised with the responsibility and importance of the projects they are assigned. As a company, Intel continues to be impressed with the enthusiasm, fresh ideas, and overall capabilities of our interns. Even more amazing is the impact that our former interns are making as full-time employees after graduation. If you are up for a challenge, an internship with Intel is what you are looking for.

Interns are considered valuable members of the Intel team, and therefore may earn many of the benefits available to full-time employees, including:
Real-world experience with leading-edge technologies

  • Competitive salaries
  • Networking with Intel managers and executives
  • Vacation, holiday time, and earned credit towards sabbaticals
  • Access to Intel University classes for professional and personal development
  • Relocation assistance and the ability to live and work in new locations
  • Consideration for full-time employment when you graduate
Requirements

Intel is looking for fast learners enrolled in bachelor's, master's, or doctoral programs in engineering, science, and business-related fields with a 3.0 or higher GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, former internship and work experience, demonstrated leadership ability, and team-building skills are all advantages. Versatility and the flexibility to adapt to new situations are essential.

Note: Students must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction*, and complete a required background investigation.

*Intel hires qualified applicants who are fully authorized to work in the U.S., i.e. individuals authorized to work without any time- or employer-related restrictions. People with temporary work authorizations, such as students in practical training status (i.e. F1 visa), will be considered only for positions where Intel is experiencing a demonstrated shortage of candidates with a particular skill. Intel cannot hire students from controlled countries and/or countries requiring export licensing.
