Ball Aerospace Summer Intern Program
A summer internship at Ball Aerospace provides the opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to engage in challenging projects, mentorship, and hands-on experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Summer interns are hired into a variety of departments, including engineering, finance, IT, marketing and communications, integrated supply chain, facilities, manufacturing, operations, and more. Interns are involved in networking events with our executives, Ball site tours, career development opportunities and more. The company uses the summer internship program to recruit the best and brightest for full-time jobs. The summer program is paid, onsite, and lasts for 10 weeks.
Summer interns have the opportunity to participate in the Ball Intern Remote Sensing Team (BIRST), an extracurricular program that provides them the opportunity to experience the full concept-to-launch-program life cycle. Interns design, construct, test, and fly payloads on either a sport rocket or a high-altitude balloon during their summer internship.
