“Fast paced, involved internship with many new relationships and a glimpse into the industry I am graduating into.”

Networking. Being able to work on projects that related to my school work. Understanding the challenges that professionals in my field face on a daily basis. Forging new relationships that turned into a full-time offer upon graduation. Practical experience that enhanced the content I learned in school and my future school work will be able to build upon my internship experiences.

Up to my eyeballs in compliance training. I get that compliance is a big part of the industry but everything was thrown at me at once and it took weeks to finish it all.

Advice to Potential Interns

Don't procrastinate on the weekly projects or compliance trainings. Network as much as you can and build relationships with everybody so you can learn about the industry as much as possible while you're there.

Advice to Management

Overall I had a very positive experience. Compensation was good(although getting my expenses reimbursed was a pain because it automatically sent a check that got lost instead of direct deposit), hours were flexible and I was able to have some freedom with how I managed my hours as long as I met the hours at the end of the week. There is a lot of growth potential as far as I am concerned with where I am and it seems like it would be a seamless transition from school into the program I applied to.
