The structure of the internship were very conducive to gaining a solid foundation within the first week and then expanding on said knowledge throughout the duration of the program. The firm was also extremely accommodating in allowing individuals that wanted additional work and exposure to take on greater responsibility as the summer progressed.

While extremely biased, as Guggenheim was my top choice, the only true negative aspect of the internship was that it was shortened from 10 to 6 weeks, due to COVID-19. I would've loved to have spent more time with my group, as the learning opportunities were endless.

Guggenheim's culture is more than a buzzword, or recruiting tactic, and one that is hard to beat across The Street. This was true not only during the recruiting process, but also during the internship itself. I'd recommend any potential candidate truly understand what makes the firm tick and whether these guiding principles align with their own.
