There was a large emphasis on gender equality throughout the internship. This internship class had the largest number of women compared to previous intern classes. There were additional events throughout the internship around the women's network at Guggenheim, including meeting senior female leaders, senior female mentorships, and a women's lunch. There was even a women's specific poker training. There was less of a focus on racial minorities, LGBTQ individuals, and other underrepresented individuals.
