SpaceX has an exceptional mentoring program called "Lift-off." You take an assessment when you are hired to pair you with an experience employee who will be your mentor for 10 weeks. You meet weekly with them to set goals, net-work and integrate into the company. The program strikes a great balance of structure (regular follow-ups on mentor meetings) and flexibility. I was set up with individuals in several departments to network. They held training session to help you learn more about your work style and how to work better with other styles.
