You are paid. That already is quite a statement in itself that speaks about the value the company puts into this program. Then you are paid competitively as an entry-level employee. Provided a small but reasonable batch of PTO (the program is 10 weeks with 24 hours of PTO, which is pretty fair scale to the normal PTO ratio of around 16+ days a year). You are salaried instead of hourly, so you are not expected and cannot be made to work overtime and they even make it a point that you should not be asked to be forced to work overtime.
