At first glance, Redseer Strategy Consultants, one of India’s leading strategy consulting firms, may seem like another high-velocity firm with sharp minds working behind strategy decks and handling client calls under tight deadlines. But spend just a day inside the office and you will realize that it’s not just company frameworks that power this, but also its people. People who are curious, focused, can take risks, and innovate. The ones who can come up with unique, bold ideas.
Overlooking Cubbon Park’s green expanse, one of Bengaluru’s most prime locations, Redseer HQ offers a unique blend of professionalism and tranquility.

With a presence across India, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, Redseer Strategy Consultants is the perfect employer for experienced professionals and also a launchpad for high-impact careers, as we hire and mentor recent graduates, shaping them into market-ready individuals. We do this because we believe that shaping and nurturing individuals in their early years leads to a team built on culture, talent, and trust.
Working at Redseer is not about being the loudest voice in the room but being a strong, impactful one that solves hard problems with unique and bold thinking and actions. It’s about taking a pathway that has not been tread before, solving the tough problems, and figuring out the best, most sustainable winning strategy.
From decoding billion-dollar market shifts to helping unicorns scale sustainably, Redseer’s impact is often visible in headlines, but what truly sets it apart is what happens behind the scenes. What follows are conversations with Redseer’s people to understand why the firm is more than just a consulting firm.

In an interaction with Madhuri Rajath in HR, we ask how she nurtures the culture, drives the hiring process, and is committed to diversity across the organization.
How does Redseer invest in its people, especially early talent?
Madhuri: We believe that the best ideas often come from the younger members of the team. According to studies, 25-35 years is when one’s creativity and performance are at the top-most level. Yet, young people often don’t get the chance to lead, test their ideas, or even make decisions because they lack experience. Unless, of course, they become entrepreneurs.
Traditional organizational hierarchy does not allow a youngster to lead during their prime years. Our goal is to hire people who want to make a difference and then back them with real exposure. From the very first day, our associates work directly with the leadership team, and that is where our uniqueness lies.
We have a very open culture with no cubicles for anyone. We’ve had 24-year-olds pitch to unicorn boards and 28-year-olds lead multinational engagements. But at the same time, we offer structured mentorship. For example, we've had impactful leadership workshops and feedback sessions with experts like Anand Kasturi, and we actively bring in external mentors to guide our senior team. We see learning as a lifelong process, not a checkbox at onboarding.
At Redseer, we foster a culture of high performance, ownership, and impact. Our teams thrive on intellectual curiosity and collaborative problem-solving, which is reflected in the kind of high-growth, market-defining work we do with our clients. We actively invest in building an inclusive, transparent, and merit-driven workplace where every voice matters and career growth is rapid for those who take initiative. This is a place for builders, thinkers, and doers—where people are not just employees, but co-creators of Redseer’s journey.
Can you speak to diversity and inclusion at Redseer?
Madhuri: We’re proud of the diversity across Redseer, not just in terms of gender or geography but in thought, backgrounds, and ways of working. Our teams include engineers, MBAs, and entrepreneurs. Around 35% of our team is comprised of women, which is significantly higher than the industry average [in India] and something we’re consciously working to improve even further. More than numbers, though, it's the openness that matters. People here feel heard, and that's what makes them stay.

Amidst a packed calendar, Rohan Agarwal, a Partner who started his journey with Redseer nearly ten years ago, carved out a few moments to share his reflections with us.
How has Redseer managed to keep things fresh for you over the years? How has that shaped your own growth?
Rohan: What kept me here wasn’t just the work, it was the people and the constant re-invention. Every time you think you’ve figured it out, the firm evolves and pulls you into something bigger, more ambitious. There’s zero complacency, and that’s what makes it exciting even a decade in.
How would you describe the firm’s evolution?
Rohan: The firm’s flat hierarchy helps keep it grounded even as it scales. It’s rare to see a consulting firm grow fast and stay authentic. That’s Redseer.
Words from the CEO, Anil Kumar
To close our journey into Redseer’s culture, we also sat down with Anil Kumar, Founder and CEO, to understand his leadership philosophy, the firm’s vision, and what truly defines “the Redseer way.”
Redseer is known for its fast-paced, impact-driven work supporting the top Indian new-age companies and other legacy brands in their growth and strategy. How do you ensure this with a healthy culture regarding work-life balance?
Anil: That’s a great question and something we talk about often. Our work is demanding, as we cater to India’s top-most organizations in retail, healthcare, private equity, TMT, mobility, food delivery, and technology. But what balances it out is the sense of ownership our people feel. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all approaches. Instead, we empower teams to structure their work in a way that suits their style while meeting client goals. That flexibility, paired with high trust, is what keeps the culture resilient.
What do you personally take pride in when you look at Redseer’s journey so far?
Anil: What makes me proud is not just the brands we’ve helped build, but the careers we’ve shaped along the way. We invest in people the same way we invest in ideas—with patience, ambition, and belief. The culture here is one of innovation, respect, and hustle. We dream big, execute fast, and learn faster. That’s the Redseer way.
How would you describe your approach to leadership?
Anil: I believe in showing up every day. I do not have a flashy and unrealistic vision. I like to focus on doing meaningful work and genuinely believe that people can make an organization go from being great to greatest. I believe in doing the right thing consistently, and the results will follow in unexpected ways.
I know, it’s not the best answer, but it’s true. This has worked for me for the last 16 years. It’s everyday behavior and not once-in-a-while inspiration that helps you build something great.
Do you have one last message for future leaders?
Anil: Break the obvious. Rethink and rework it, because if you don’t, someone else will. Everything is not long-lasting and permanent, and neither is it sustainable that way. Innovation and evolution are key to leading in this competitive world of business consulting.
