The year 2024 marked the 50th anniversary of Withum’s inception. Withum’s founders, Frederick Withum, Leonard Smith, and Ivan Brown, founded their self-titled company in 1974 in Middlesex County, N.J. These three men wanted to provide a personalized service to growing companies while also establishing a firm focused on its people. Their mission was to put an emphasis on staff development, great client service, and giving back to the community.
