The heads of education sometimes plays favorite, and the assistant trading and training program is arguably more difficult than being an actual trader. Not everyone who gets hired becomes a trader, and you have no complete control over what desk you are eventually placed into.

Very math and stat focused company, the interview process is almost exclusively math, game theory and probability questions. To succeed, you'll need to put in the extra hours in the beginning as the learning curve is extremely steep.
