About Adyen
Adyen was founded in 2006 by current CEO Pieter van der Does and Arnout Schuijff. In 2012, the company began to expand, eventually opening offices in San Francisco, Paris, London, Tokyo, and Mumbai. Adyen made the top 10 of Forbes’ “Cloud 100” list for two consecutive years, in 2016 and 2017. Despite the many challenges presented during the Covid-19 pandemic, Adyen saw a nearly 30 percent increase in revenue year-over-year. It is headquartered in Amsterdam.
