Our summer associates engage in substantive, challenging assignments across a broad range of practice areas. They receive structured, personalized feedback throughout their assignments and have opportunities to attend trials, hearings, depositions, negotiations, client meetings, and practice group meetings. Each summer associate is paired with both a shareholder mentor and an associate mentor to ensure individualized guidance and support, fostering personal and professional growth. Each office hosts a variety of social and community-focused events, giving summer associates the chance to connect with attorneys in a relaxed, informal setting. Building relationships with Baker Donelson professionals is a key part of the summer experience and essential to growth as a young lawyer.
