1L Inclusion Fellowship Program

Knobbe Martens is proud to offer a 1L Inclusion Fellowship Program which is open to qualified first-year law students interested in Intellectual Property Law. Recipients of the scholarship will be awarded a paid summer associate position following their first year of law school and a grant of up to $30,000. Scholarship recipients will receive the first portion of the grant in the amount of $5,000 when they begin the 1L Summer Associate Program, and the second portion of $10,000 after completing the 1L Summer Program and receiving and accepting an offer to return for the 2L Summer Associate Program. After completing the 2L Summer Associate Program, recipients may receive an offer to join the firm as an associate. If the candidate accepts the offer, the candidate will receive an additional $15,000. Applications for the 1L Inclusion Fellowship Program will be announced in Fall 2025.

2L Inclusion Fellowship Program

Knobbe Martens is proud to offer a 2L Inclusion Fellowship Program which is open to qualified second-year law students interested in Intellectual Property Law. Recipients of the scholarship will be awarded a paid summer associate position following their second year of law school and a grant of up to $25,000. After completing the 2L Summer Associate Program, recipients will receive the first portion of that grant in the amount of $10,000 and may receive an offer to join the firm as an associate. If the candidate accepts the offer, the candidate will receive an additional $15,000. Applications for the 2L Inclusion Fellowship Program will be announced in Summer 2025.
