Vault’s Verdict

One of the first firms in the industry founded on the concept of doing consulting differently (i.e. with a work-life balance that pays more than lip-service to the concept), North Highland seems to have figured out a way to stay relevant, and remain successful, even while staying true to its founding ethos. While that may have implications for those hoping to build a career straight out of business school (name recognition here is not as strong as you'll find elsewhere), the firm takes on a whole different appearance to the hardened road-warrior looking for a little respite from the worst the industry has to offer. Definitely one to check out if you're in mid-career and hoping for just a little more in the way of a quiet life.
