Reworking the structure
Wipro has undergone a few changes as company leaders seek to find the most appropriate structure for the firm. The most recent iteration – launched in 2016 – sees the firm finally unite its tech, strategy, domain, digital, and business consulting capabilities under one banner: previously, some consultants had been scattered across other business units and verticals. Although consulting is just one piece of Wipro's overall business – accounting for 5 percent of the firm's total revenue mix – firm executives said the reconfiguration will make the consulting business more efficient and better positioned to work with other Wipro clients. As Phil Dunmore, Vice President & Global Head of Wipro’s Consulting unit put it, "Until now, consultants were deeply embedded in their own respective domains and businesses, so the full power of what our integrated consulting services could do was not completely visible even internally. All that changes with the consolidation of our Consulting unit, and the CEO’s agenda to make integrated consulting a client priority."

Currently, Wipro’s Consulting unit is led by Phil Dunmore, who joined the firm at the beginning of 2017.
