The world's largest telecom company, AT&T is the product of centuries of merging and acquiring, starting with the telephone company that started it all, the Bell Telephone Company. AT&T is a conglomerate with many arms, not just the cell phone service; DirectTV, WarnerMedia, Cricket Wireless, and dozens of local telecom companies are part of the AT&T family. This means that there are hundreds of positions with very different roles available to AT&T candidates, from marketing to customer service to tech to logistics. AT&T's corporate social responsibility efforts of late have focused on connecting people across what it calls the "digital divide" brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, and the subsequent shift towards remote or hybrid work and school schedules.
