Calibre’s prowess and strength as an accounting firm alongside its passion for its clients makes it an excellent place for students to get a taste of the accounting industry and learn what it’s like to work with an accomplished team. Calibre offers a summer internship called the IMPACT program. IMPACT is an eight-week program designed for rising undergraduate seniors. The program has students working directly alongside partners and senior staff, mainly in the audit department. Interns also get to take part in special projects, as well as fun events with other interns.
IMPACT is fully dedicated to the “development of the intern.” While interns are doing meaningful work and making meaningful impact, this internship and its success is measured by their growth and personal progress during the summer. Real-world industry experience is incredibly important, and fully utilizing interns’ potential is key, but what is most important in the IMPACT internship is offering a space for growth and expression for young students in the early stages of their professional careers.
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, graduating in 2019
- Completion of the Intermediate Accounting course
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Involvement in extra-curricular and volunteer activities is preferred
