2027 Vault Rankings
AAR's summer internship program runs for roughly 10 weeks, with interns taking on assignments comparable to those handled by full-time staff. Each intern is given a business-improvement project to complete over the course of the summer, giving them a defined deliverable to work toward and present. Alongside their day-to-day department work, interns visit one of AAR's maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facilities and tour airport operations, exposing them to the operational side of the aviation business beyond their assignments.
Interns are supported through AAR's broader learning and development infrastructure, which includes access to mentorship, leadership training sessions, and networking opportunities with staff across the company. Departments hosting interns span areas such as supply chain, maintenance operations, engineering, and corporate functions, giving students exposure to different parts of the aviation services business depending on their field of study.
