Revvity's RiseUp interns are placed into teams tied to the company's core businesses, which include reagents and detection technologies, instrumentation, software, and diagnostics. Common placements include roles in research and development, product development areas such as cell analysis, ELISA assay work, and recombinant protein development, as well as software engineering and other technical and business-support functions. Day-to-day, interns contribute to active projects under the guidance of staff scientists, engineers, or business professionals.
The program is structured to build both technical and professional skills: interns gain hands-on laboratory, engineering, or software experience specific to their track, along with exposure to how a diagnostics and life sciences company operates commercially. Mentorship from full-time staff is a consistent element, and interns are given the chance to collaborate across teams and build professional networks within the company.
