About Kearney Internship Program
Kearney’s internship program offers applicants the opportunity to experience management consulting in a uniquely collegial way. The six- to 10-week program begins with an orientation by their local office, followed by training where interns will learn the necessary tools and methodologies required for success in management consulting. They are assigned a mentor who will stay actively engaged with their project manager, and offer continuous support and guidance throughout the program. Together with the project team, interns develop models, perform complex analyses, and work on data-gathering assignments – both at client sites and in the office. From day one, consultants in the internship program will make a difference at Kearney, expanding their capabilities and learning more about a career in consulting – while having a fun and rewarding experience.
Consulting is fundamentally about making connections—between facts, figures, insights, strategies, tools, technologies and above all, people. Kearney expects their interns to be:
- Analytically inclined and love solving problems
- Ready to share ideas and opinions as soon as they join a team
- Enrolled in an undergraduate, master or MBA program (depending on the office location and requirements)
