NERA’s summer internship program gives students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on projects alongside researchers and partners. Interns will also participate in skills training, volunteer activities, and social events throughout the summer. The internship runs from early June to mid-August, and interns are expected to work at least 40 hours per week. Responsibilities may include designing and building quantitative models, applying econometric analysis to economic and financial data, conducting valuation analyses, reviewing and analyzing industry trends, creating trial exhibits and presentation materials, writing code for complex data analysis, participating in client meetings, and drafting memos and expert reports. This is an opportunity for students interested in helping to solve real-world problems using a multidisciplinary approach that includes applying economic theory and skills in statistics, econometrics, finance, game theory, mathematics, and computer science to the most challenging issues NERA's clients face.
