About Secretariat Internship Program

Secretariat's internship program runs for approximately 10 to 12 weeks over the summer and is open to both undergraduate and MBA students. Interns are placed within practice groups tied to the firm's core service lines, which include forensic accounting, economic damages analysis, construction and engineering disputes, and international arbitration support. Day-to-day work involves assisting experienced consultants and experts with research, data analysis, and case preparation for high-stakes legal, regulatory, and economic matters, giving interns direct exposure to how expert testimony and advisory work is developed for law firms, corporations, and government clients.

The program is structured to combine analytical project work with ongoing training, and interns work alongside professionals with backgrounds in accounting, data analytics, economics, engineering, and finance. This cross-disciplinary exposure allows interns to see how different technical specialties come together on a single engagement, rather than being confined to one narrow function.

Through the internship, participants develop applied skills in quantitative and analytical work, gain exposure to client engagement management, and build relationships within a global network of subject-matter experts.
