About Applied Materials Internship Program

Departments that hire interns at Applied Materials vary from accounting and finance to marketing and sales, so there’s a diverse array of fields from which to choose. Interns are paid by the hour and are eligible for perks like health benefits. The majority of the interns are based in the company’s Santa Clara location and work on both individual and team projects to gain meaningful experience in their chosen specialization. Twenty percent of interns are offered full-time positions following graduation.

Eligibility

1. Student must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree program at the time of the internship (i.e. graduating in December 2022 or later)
2. Fields of study preferred: Accounting, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Finance, Human Resources, Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering, Law, Management Information Systems, Materials Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Product Marketing, Supply Chain Management
3. Applicants must be in good academic standing at their university, with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
