About Iridium Internship Program

Iridium offers a summer internship program for students who are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program. Those who participate will work on real-world projects that will have a meaningful impact on the organization. Iridium’s summer internship program allows applicants to choose from a variety of exciting pathways.

Those who are interested in participating are required to be studying for a degree in a wide range of fields, ranging from engineering, computer science, aerospace engineering, business, marketing, finance, and other related fields. The internship lasts for 12 weeks, typically from late May to early August. The primary locations for Iridium’s summer internship program are its Virginia and Arizona offices.

Iridium’s summer internship program is a paid position, with the pay rate varying depending on the role and the candidate’s level of experience. Participants will have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals, collaborate with other interns, and attend informative professional development sessions as well as social events. Throughout the summer, interns collaborate together in groups to design their own creative pitches that are presented to the Iridium executive leadership team at the end of the program.
