The Emma Bowen Foundation Internship program “recruits promising student of color end places them in multi-year paid internships at some of the nation’s leading media and tech companies,” including Comcast, NBCUniversal, Discovery, Hearst Television, the New York Times, and many more. All students of color are invited to apply, and should be a graduating high school senior with plans to attend a four-year accredited college or university, or an undergraduate college student. Competitive applicants have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and are passionate about pursuing a career in media and technology. This internship placement program works with the best students in the country and offers a chance like no other to get unparalleled professional experience in the media industry. Not only that, it’s combatting racism and discrimination and progressing true equity in a notoriously white-washed industry.
