Most AT&T Labs interns work one-on-one with a supervisor on specific projects within their respective research groups. Projects may include optical transport, network management, certification and testing, IP and voice services, software systems research and information mining. Interns give a half-hour talk on their work at the end of the term.
Open to students currently enrolled in a PhD program working toward a degree in computer science, statistics, engineering or physics. Applicants must have a record of publication and a GPA of at least 3.5. Non-U.S. citizens are eligible.
