About American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) Internship Program

The American Bureau of Shipping internship program is for any student pursuing a higher-education degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in the engineering field—including, but not limited to, Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural and Civil Engineering, and Computer/Information Sciences Engineering. Internships will take place at the ABS headquarters in Spring, Texas, north of Houston, and housing/transportation/travel costs are covered for non-local students (outside a 50-mile radius).
