About BNP Paribas USA

BNP Paribas was formed in 2000 when BNP and Paribas, two previously separate entities, merged. Today, the company deals with two key areas of business: retail banking and services, and corporate and institutional banking. BNP Paribas is a major sponsor of the French Open tennis tournament, and has also sponsored its own tennis tournaments in Manhattan and London. The company’s U.S. corporate headquarters is located in New York City.

BNP Paribas provides an array of financial products and services, including personal banking, commercial banking, fleet services, and wealth management. Individuals who live in America will find rewarding career opportunities in areas such as finance, business management, underwriting, data analytics, retail banking, marketing, and more. There are also thousands of positions available abroad, in Europe, Africa, and Asia-Pacific. In all regions, BNP Paribas takes a human approach to its recruiting process, not judging applicants but evaluating them based on their skills.

BNP Paribas is committed to social responsibility and follows three key philosophies: promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace, ensure responsible and fair employment management, and provide all employees with an exciting and unique career path. In 2011, BNP Paribas signed the United Nations Women Empowerment Principles (WEP) charter, and as of 2020, the percentage of women in senior management positions was 31 percent and rising. In addition, the bank has been named a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality by the Human Rights Campaign, and has resource groups dedicated to raising awareness of disability- and mental health-related issues.
