About Raymond James
Founded in 1962, Florida-based Raymond James Financial is one of the largest financial services firms in the U.S. RJF subsidiary Raymond James & Associates is the largest full-service investment firm and New York Stock Exchange member headquartered in the Southeast. Its business falls into four core areas: wealth management, capital markets, asset management, and banking and lending.
Its wealth management unit is its largest and most lucrative. Its capital markets group includes investment banking (M&A, underwriting, private placements), equity and fixed income capital markets (sales & trading, brokerage, syndicate), and equity research (its more than 60 analysts cover approximately 1,200 companies). Its asset management unit manages mutual funds and institutional portfolios and offers institutional and retail investment products. And its banking and lending group provides securities-based lending, cash management, and deposit products.
Raymond James employs more than 19,000 people and is led by Paul Shoukry, its CEO. Shoukry took over the chief executive role in 2025 after serving as the firm's CFO for many years.
