About Lifescience Dynamics Ltd EMEA
Lifescience Dynamics is an award-winning management consulting firm helping life science companies with strategic insight and foresight to improve their assumptions, enabling them to make better decisions.
Founded in 2004, the firm is 100% independently owned, and-according to the firm, is run by an entrepreneur who considers client experience to be the company's core principle, rather than financial metrics.
The firm provides decision support from every angle, allowing for a 360-degree view of the market place. The company has grown organically each year and works across three practice areas:
- Market research (qualitative and quantitative)
- Competitive intelligence (primary and secondary research)
- Market access, pricing and reimbursement
In the heavily regulated pharmaceutical environment, Lifescience Dynamics has the ability to engage with a vast, global network of experts (KOLs, Payers, HCPs and Subject Matter Experts) to determine market opportunities that pharmaceutical companies cannot directly gather themselves, therefore providing their clients with insight as well as foresight.
With so few blockbuster drugs on the horizon and many key disease areas well served by generics/ biosimilars, innovation in the pharmaceutical market now focuses on precision and targeted medicine including biologics, regenerative and gene therapies. In these difficult times, pharmaceutical and biotech clients require a trusted partner for guidance, and it is here that Lifescience Dynamics claim to provide unparalleled support.
Typical projects undertaken by the firm aim to address clients' business issues and challenges to maximise the full commercial potential of their assets. Lifescience Dynamics' clients include the world's top 20 pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life science, medical device and diagnostic companies. The firm has worked with over two thirds of the leading global companies in these areas, successfully delivering over 600 projects and researching in 86 countries. Lifescience Dynamics has earned a 98% satisfaction rate and 95% retention rate over the last decade.
How it all started
While Lifescience Dynamics has been in business since 2004, the firm found its feet-and its core business model-as a result of the 2008 financial crisis. With pharmaceutical companies cutting investment in consulting services, it became apparent that a more reflective way of compiling data was required. The Founder and President of Lifescience Dynamics, Rafaat Rahmani, began gathering information and saw a gap in the market for tools that reduced cost and research timing.
Lifescience Dynamics was the first consulting company to develop an application to collect data via a Facebook platform.
In 2008, iOmnibus was developed and enabled clients to reach a new market of potential targets for research. This was shortly followed by iAdBoard, an online platform that harnesses the power of collective thinking. This web-based virtual advisory platform and bulletin board allows dynamic interactions to take place between payers, KOLs, physicians and patients - all under the moderation of highly experienced, healthcare-specialized moderators.
Another bespoke feature developed by the firm is Intelliportal, a tool that empowers decision makers with the relevant intelligence to enable them to stay ahead of their competition, wherever and whenever they need it. At its heart is a custom-built, proprietary risk algorithm, which categorizes intelligence by potential impact, reliability and urgency--taking into account a client's high priority competitors, products and geographies-and pushes alerts to specified users.
Qoncept is the latest tool developed by Lifescience Dynamics. It is an instant responder evaluation; a new tool to optimize concepts from ideation to results with real time presentation, allowing months of research to be consolidated into a few days.
The success of Lifescience Dynamics' recent growth also correlates with the emphasis it places on hiring and training the best staff in the world. 75% of the organization have PhDs and are recruited from an international pool of talent that are attracted to the coupling of business with life sciences.
The firm prides itself on a rich family culture, and cites collaboration, supportiveness and fairness as values that lie at its roots.
