About Fellers Snider
Oklahoma law firm Fellers Snider represents clients both locally and nationally listing big names like Hertz, Wal-Mart, American Express, ExxonMobil and BP on its roster. The firm has established well-respected practices in litigation, bankruptcy and antitrust law and has obtained billions of dollars in punitive damages for its clients--some of the largest in the history of Oklahoma law.
A Tale of Two Presidents
Fellers Snider was founded in 1963 by James D. Fellers and John Joseph Snider in the state's capital, Oklahoma City. Fellers was the first lawyer from Oklahoma to serve as the President of the American Bar Association in 1974; a decade prior, he served as President of the Oklahoma Bar Association. Today, the firm continues to maintain its presidential tradition. Partner John Heatly served as President of the Oklahoma County Bar Association from 2012 to 2013.
In the 1990s, Fellers Snider expanded into a second office in Tulsa, in order to grow its now highly prestigious intellectual property practice.
IP OK
Fellers Snider has been ranked by Chambers USA as a top firm in Oklahoma. The firm has prepared patent applications for a DNA vaccine, lighted helmets, fishing accessories, video editing devices, molecule extractors and ergonomic work stations, among hundreds of others. Fellers Snider has also represented the likes of Enron, Siemens, Dupont and the University of Oklahoma in patent litigation.
A Well-Rounded Bunch
The firm is home to top-ranked lawyers in areas of professional malpractice law, workers' compensation, M&A litigation, regulatory enforcement, patent litigation and white-collar criminal defense. Its attorneys have also been ranked in lists such as Chambers USA's Top Ten Oklahoma Litigators and America's Leading Lawyers for Business as well as Oklahoma Super Lawyers, Super Lawyers Rising Stars and Super Lawyers Corporate Counsel.
Many attorneys at Fellers Snider have side interests--the firm's ranks include scientists, engineers, community diplomats, accountants and even ranchers. This diversity carries over into an eclectic client base: for example, through the firm's Equine, Bovine and Agricultural Law practice, attorneys represent breeding farms, trainers, horse owners, ranchers and farmers.

Three years later, former U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Oklahoma Robert G. McCampbell joined the firm as a shareholder and director.
