Summer associates select a six to eight week period during which they work closely with associates and partners at the firm on a broad range of projects including legal research, drafting briefs and memoranda, and assisting with discovery, experts, and other trial matters. Projects are based on current needs in ongoing matters. The firm endeavors to provide summer associates with projects that match any special legal interests they may have, but as the firm has no defined practice areas, there is no limit to the range of assignments that summer associates may receive. The summer associate program also features speakers who discuss current topics in the law and their experiences with clerkships and in their legal careers both inside and outside law firm practice.
