About Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr P.C.
Munsch Hardt operates out of three offices in the Lone Star state. With more than 140 attorneys and a self-proclaimed “rolled-up sleeves attitude,” the firm handles transactions and disputes in industries like construction, health care, manufacturing, real estate, technology, and transportation.
It Started with Six
In 1985, six Dallas attorneys founded Munsch Hardt with a vision to build a firm that was “energetic, agile, and responsive” to client needs. This client-centered approach proved successful. By its 30th anniversary, the firm had expanded to three offices with more than 100 lawyers and earned a reputation as a top Texas firm.
Multifaceted Talent
Munsch Hardt counsels across myriad practice areas, but some are especially standout. The firm touts its bankruptcy practice as one of the largest and most experienced in the Southwest, and its resume checks out. For over a decade, the group has racked up local and national recognition while representing clients involved in all stages of bankruptcy, restructuring, and insolvency.
Another strong suit is the firm’s litigation practice, which operates on the mantra that it is not afraid to go to trial and has the experience to back it up. According to Munsch Hardt, its litigation practice is unique thanks to three factors—abilities, rate structure, and how cases are staffed. The firm has appeared in nearly every Texas state court and has handled cases related to energy, products liability, insurance, IP, antitrust, construction, admiralty, health care, tax, and beyond.
From an industry angle, Munsch Hardt has a strong presence in the energy industry. True to its client-focused belief system, the firm strives to understand all players from geoscientists to engineers to traders and asset managers. This deep understanding allows the firm to navigate complex transactions and regulatory issues for clients ranging from individuals to Fortune 500 companies.
Supporting Women Attorneys
Among Munsch Hardt’s diversity initiatives is its Women’s Initiative. The firm provides formal and informal mentoring to female attorneys through one-on-one sessions and roundtable discussions. It also hosts quarterly lunches and happy hours for its female attorneys to network and strengthen intra-firm relationships. Further, Munsch Hardt’s firm leadership roster includes women in roles like practice group leader and management committee leadership.
