The Firm Says
The first step on your journey as an attorney is spending a summer with us. We’re eager to introduce you to our work, our culture, and our people. We’re focused on providing our summer associates with a realistic experience of what it would be like to work here as an associate through an understanding of the resources available to them as well as our overall approach to training and development. Our Troutman Pepper Locke YOUniversity integrates resources and learning and development opportunities along with benchmark expectations to help attorneys navigate their career paths effectively. To that end, we have created a summer-specific version of YOUniversity offering that includes specific expectations, substantive feedback, and a robust training schedule to help our summers navigate the firm successfully.
Our culture is built around service, including always putting our clients first. Summer associates participate in firmwide pro bono and community service initiatives and can also work on stand-alone pro bono projects. Inclusion is among the firm’s core values and is fundamental to the firm's culture. Our program prepares our summer associates for long-term success at Troutman Pepper Locke, or wherever their career path may take them.
