MEET OUR PEOPLE
SciVida offers an extraordinary experience for its team members. We work hard at maintaining a fantastic culture where everyone has vast opportunity to learn, grow, and advance in their career while also having fun and building strong relationships with colleagues across the country. Our people are a huge part of the secret sauce that makes SciVida such an incredible place. Meet a few of them below.

Becca Jane Cody, Director of Talent Development | Raleigh
My career in learning and development really began as a summer camp sailing instructor on the coast of North Carolina, where I discovered the impact of great teaching—seeing skills click, confidence grow, and people succeed with the right support. That experience helped shape a 20‑year career in talent development, grounded in learning theory and a passion for helping people do their best work. Working in a smaller, growing firm allows me to stay close to both the people and the impact, partnering directly with teams to build practical, learner‑focused learning experiences.
Outside of work I enjoy running, reading, sailing, snowboarding, and traveling with my husband and three children.

Justinne Guarin, PhD, Consultant | Boston
Growing up in the Boston area surrounded by scientific innovation, I developed an early curiosity about medicine and the rapidly evolving biotech landscape. I pursued this interest through a BS in Biology at UMass Amherst, followed by a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Tufts University, where my research focused on understanding mechanisms of chemotherapy resistance in cancer.
Driven by a desire to apply my problem‑solving mindset to broader strategic challenges, I transitioned into life sciences strategy consulting. At SciVida, I’ve had the opportunity to work across diverse therapeutic areas and help clients deliver meaningful impact, particularly in patient access and medical affairs.
Outside of work, you’ll most often find me outdoors, rock climbing, skiing, hiking, camping, playing ultimate frisbee, or traveling somewhere new. Otherwise, I’m happily spending time with my dogs or trying new restaurants.

Nathan Guskiewicz, Senior Consultant | San Francisco
My path to consulting started at the intersection of science and strategy. I studied biomedical engineering at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) and later earned my MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, driven by a desire to pair technical problem-solving with real-world decision making. Life sciences consulting stood out as a way to connect innovation with real patient outcomes. I particularly enjoy the constant learning consulting demands, adapting quickly to new challenges and building expertise across diverse therapeutic areas.
What I enjoy most about SciVida are the people and the collaborative culture. As one of the early members of the West Coast team, I’ve especially valued helping build the San Francisco presence and watching the office grow. Contributing to that momentum alongside smart, collaborative colleagues is one of the most rewarding parts of my role.
Outside of work I enjoy running, golfing, surfing, and traveling whenever I get the chance.
