There's this huge focus on entrepreneurship that exists within the firm, and if you're not one that's used to it - the danger to is that you get stunned and lost in the beginning. All of a sudden, you're a manager or a director and you have a P&L. In fact, some associates even have P&Ls - especially if they're heavily involved in our portfolio business. As a result, if you're not one that's open to that kind of arrangement, you'd be turned off immediately. If you are one to accept the challenge, however, the experience quickly becomes priceless. Growth comes a lot faster, and you additionally hone your decisiveness and management skills even at a young age.

Hours, travel, and vacations are such minor concerns for me honestly. Greater things - such as purpose - dictate one's quality of life at YCP Solidiance. For as long as you're able to find that and master it, everything else just falls into place. From where I'm at, I have full control over my hours--I start whenever I want and end when I want, I go on enough vacations, travel adequately, and can take a breather whenever I need it.
