Imams

In foreign countries, imams may be members of unions, but there is no such equivalent union in the United States. There are many useful organizations in the U.S. for imams and Muslims as a whole. The North American Imams Fellow is a membership organization for imams in the U.S. and Canada. The Council on American-Islamic Relations is America’s largest Muslim civil liberties organization. It offers useful information on Islam and guides to Muslim religious practices. The Islamic Society of North America is a membership organization for Muslims. It hosts an annual conference and offers a variety of youth programs.
