The Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) is the leading organization for accountants in the world. The AICPA has membership categories for accounting college students and aspiring certified public accountants, provides scholarships and continuing education opportunities, and offers a wealth of information about education, careers, and licensing at its Web site. The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) has its own proprietary online social network called myIMA Network (https://linkup.imanet.org), which is available to IMA members. The myIMA Network can be used to locate jobs, find local networking events, and communicate with other members about the certification process or the job search. The IMA also awards the certified management accountant credential and publishes Strategic Finance and Management Accounting and offers a blog and podcast. Other noteworthy organizations include the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and Institute of Internal Auditors, International Investment Funds Association, and Investment Company Institute.
