Aprio is a company that knows how important its team is to its success. That’s why its student programs are essential, bringing in bright young minds who add passion and talent to the group. There are opportunities for students at every stage of their education, from first-year undergraduates to students who have just completed their graduate degrees. Each program is uniquely designed for students based on their level of education, from introductory-education-based programs to full-time working positions.
The Headstart program is designed for freshmen and sophomores who have a keen interest in a public accounting career. This seminar-based program is perfect for students just beginning to explore their career choices.
The annual Aprio Case Competition is an event where 15-20 groups of 4-5 underrepresented students compete to find a solution to a complex case relating to tax and advisory. The groups have a week to examine the case, with the aid of their Aprio team advisor, and will present their solutions that address the needs and implications of the assigned case. The top three teams with the best solutions walk away with up to $14,000 per team!
The Internship Program is designed for juniors and seniors and offers full-time, fast-paced positions involving work and projects that deal directly with partners, directors, and managers. The work interns engage in is essential to Aprio’s business and makes a meaningful, positive impact on Aprio’s clients. About 85% of Aprio interns are offered a full-time position upon completion of the internship.
All Aprio interns are invited to Aspire at its Atlanta headquarters for a two-day overnight event. The program’s goal is to provide a culturally immersive experience to Aprio's incoming interns that delivers leadership development; internal relationship building with leaders and peers; and opportunities to learn about Aprio's fundamentals, services, industries, and clients. The program serves as a valuable learning opportunity prior to the Aprio internship.
