About DreamWorks Internship Program

Anyone who wants to join the DreamWorks intern team should be passionate about animation, ready to have loads of fun while still working hard, willing to take initiative, and self-motivated yet willing to ask for help when they need it. Students who find themselves matching that description should take a second look at the animation studio. Internships with DreamWorks take place over 10 weeks and offer competitive wages. Students pursuing an associate’s, bachelor’s, or graduate degree, or have graduated within six months, are invited to apply. The internship can take place either in the spring or fall semester or the summer months, all taking place over 10 weeks.

Interns at DreamWorks get the incredible opportunity to work with some of the best artists, writers, technologists, executives, production and support staff in the business. Artistic, Production, and Development interns work in the TV and Feature Animation departments, working on actual productions and learning the 2D and 3D pipelines. Other interns work in the Technology, Marketing, Public Relations, Employee Engagement, Talent Acquisition, and Music departments, among others.
