Anyone who wants to join the DreamWorks intern team should be passionate about animation, ready to have loads of fun while still working hard, willing to take initiative, and self-motivated yet willing to ask for help when they need it. The internship can take place either in the spring or fall semester or the summer months, all taking place over 10 weeks.

Artistic, Production, and Development interns work in the TV and Feature Animation departments, working on actual productions and learning the 2D and 3D pipelines. Other interns work in the Technology, Marketing, Public Relations, Employee Engagement, Talent Acquisition, and Music departments, among others.
