Huntington National Bank offers a summer internship program for ambitious, academically exceptional students. The paid program lasts for 12 weeks and is available to sophomores, juniors, seniors, and postgraduates. Areas of study include finance, audit, risk, information technology, analytics, and operations.
The internship promises individuals the opportunity to contribute to major projects, learn valuable skills, and participate in formal and informal networking events, as well as a mentorship program. Interns are also afforded volunteer opportunities in their local communities, receive real-time performance evaluations, and gain the potential for full-time employment after graduation.
• High School graduate
• Enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate accredited University
• 3.0 overall GPA
Preferred Qualifications:
• Course(s) of study including (but not limited to): Business, Accounting, Finance, Communications, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Human Resources, etc.
• Sound written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work within teams and maintain professional composure in a dynamic work environment that often requires management and completion of multiple tasks
• Demonstrate sound judgment and ability to apply logical/critical thought processes when developing solutions
• Ability to display a positive business presence with management and external personnel
• A strong interest in Banking as a career
