“Virtual Internship: 5 Ways Huntington Immersed a Marketing Intern into the Program”
2020VERIFIED INTERN
Uppers

There were so many great aspects of this internship. One of the best aspects was how interns were given real-life projects to tackle. Everyone had a lot to do, and they were never bored. Another great aspect of the program was how colleagues took the time to network with interns. An intern could really get what they wanted out of the experience. Also, I thought the innovation project was one of the best parts of the program, because interns were given the opportunity to present to the ELT.

Downers

The thing I liked least about the internship was how it was virtual. Nobody can control how it was virtual though. It was difficult to sit and work at a computer all day and not have the face-to-face interaction.

Advice to Potential Interns

I wish I would've known how fun and rewarding this internship would've been. I was nervous about the internship being virtual, but I ended up LOVING it and am so happy I was able to experience it. Also, interns should know the program will be challenging. It is not an easy program where you get coffee for your advisor. There is meaningful work that needs to be done everyday. A potential intern should know they will be busy.

Advice to Management

I don't have much advice, because I feel like everything about the program was fun and efficient.
