William Blair’s 9-week internship programs provide unique opportunities to play an integral role and gain valuable experience across various aspects of the deal process. Over a short time, interns get exposure to a variety of transaction types, including mergers and acquisitions, public equity offerings, and private equity placements.
After an initial training period, summer analysts are assigned to an industry group, where they join deal teams and work on a combination of live transactions and pitches. The program encompasses all functions of a full-time analyst, including financial modeling and analysis, industry and company research, involvement with client communications, and meetings.
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or MBA degree, with the corresponding graduation date, at the time of consideration
General understanding of accounting and finance
Strong verbal, written, analytical and quantitative skills
Project and process management experience
Ability to adapt to new tasks with little notice
Willingness to be located in Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, or San Francisco
