The Akamai internship runs worldwide and can be different depending on where the intern is located—in the U.S., the program takes place in the summer and runs for 12 weeks. Prospective interns can expect a two-round interview (or three, for technical roles) with a recruiter and their potential team. During the program, interns will get hands-on experience and learn about Akamai’s work from their team members. They will have the opportunity to attend fireside chats with members of the leadership team and to participate in a final project that is presented to leadership.
