Brasfield & Gorrie's internship and co-op program places students across the company's operating divisions, including field construction operations, preconstruction, marketing, and mechanical or specialty trades. Positions are offered across the firm's regional offices, and students are encouraged to complete rotations during fall or spring terms, when there is more time to work closely with an assigned team. Co-op participants, arranged through university cooperative-education offices, commit to three terms and gain a deeper, more continuous view of project lifecycles.

Day-to-day work generally includes supporting active job sites, assisting project teams with scheduling and documentation, contributing to proposal and marketing materials, or gaining hands-on maintenance experience with heavy equipment. Interns work one-on-one with team members rather than in an isolated training track, which exposes them to real project responsibilities early on.

Through these placements, students and program participants build practical skills in construction management, field operations, scheduling, and trade-specific technical work, along with exposure to how a large contractor bids, staffs, and completes projects. The program is designed to feed the company's broader talent pipeline, with many interns and co-op students returning for additional rotations or transitioning into full-time roles after graduation.
