Avnet offers a 12-week summer internship program for college students in the U.S. and a 6-month program during the school year in Guadalajara. The internship takes place either at the company’s headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, other major U.S. locations, or in Guadalajara, Mexico, in conjunction with their local universities. Participants gain hands-on experience as they learn valuable career lessons from company leaders, work with Avnet Cares volunteering in the local community, and experience Avnet’s company culture firsthand. Internship opportunities are customarily available in supply chain, data analytics, marketing, sales, IT, finance, business operations, and engineering.

Those who are interested in participating must maintain a strong GPA, demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, and possess an eagerness to learn. For those still completing their education, Avnet often allows students to extend their time at the company while returning to school. 

Throughout the internship, students work alongside experienced professionals as they contribute to real-world experiences and projects. Avnet is known in its industry for providing its interns with direct pathways toward full-time employment at the conclusion of its internship programs.
