About American Express Company Internships

American Express offers a number of student internships to help young people take full advantage of their potential and grow as professionals. There are three main student internships, the first being the Undergraduate Summer Internship. This program is a classic financial summer internship designed for rising seniors. It is a ten-week program where interns work together in teams, getting to engage in educational projects as well as real and meaningful company work.

The second is the MBA Summer Internship Program. This is a ten-week program for MBA students to get unparalleled professional experience at a top company in their field. MBA interns take on real company responsibility while also getting the flexibility to explore other areas of the business they may not be working on. MBA interns develop a close network of colleagues, especially with professionals just a few years ahead of them. This community is crucial for building a career in such an intense industry, and American Express ensures that happens for its young interns. For both of these internships, undergraduate and MBA, students are considered for full-time positions upon graduation.

The last program offered by the company is the Sophomore Technology and Finance Internship. This program is an eight-week session designed for younger undergraduate students. They will get to engage in “hands-on training on core analytical tools,” as well as be paired up with a one-on-one mentor. This internship is perfect for younger undergrads who want the chance to explore a number of areas for their future, develop amazing new skills, and meet friends from across the country.
