2027 Vault Rankings
LPL Financial's internship program runs for about 10 weeks each summer and is structured to give participants project work alongside mentorship from experienced professionals. Interns are placed across departments including investment research, marketing, operations, compliance, and technology. The company also runs specialized tracks such as the Foundational Analyst Rotational (FAR) program for finance-focused students and a Strategy & Growth program for students interested in corporate strategy work. Within these tracks, participants are assigned to a specific team for the duration of the internship, take on work assignments and group projects, and attend learning sessions led by company leaders.
The broader program includes networking events, social and wellness activities, and informational sessions intended to build connections across the intern class and with full-time employees. Interns are paired with mentors who provide guidance throughout the assignment, and the experience is designed to expose participants to how a financial services and technology platform supports independent financial advisors.
