Mastercard has established a variety of programs for students and recent graduates, including its summer internship program and the Mastercard Launch program. Students and recent graduates from around the globe can participate, as Mastercard offers each program in the United States, Europe, Asia Pacific, MEA, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Qualifications vary depending on the applicant’s region; however, each program features the same components regardless of its location.

The summer internship program is recommended for students who possess strong communication and analytical skills. Applicants will be required to be strong academically and involved in extracurricular activities while demonstrating leadership skills and the ability to innovate and think creatively. The program provides students with the opportunity to work on real-world projects that will have a meaningful impact on the business, all while having access to networking events, speaker series, and volunteer and team-building experiences.

For students who are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, Mastercard offers its Mastercard Launch program. Students will learn valuable skills while working alongside professional mentors, who will provide support and feedback that is geared toward helping participants build upon their strengths as they begin their careers with Mastercard. In addition, participants will experience Mastercard’s purpose-driven culture and will have the opportunity to attend networking events.
