Intern Sarasota County is an internship program that encompasses various areas within the Sarasota County government. The internship program typically runs over the summer, and can take place in many different areas, including Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources; Enterprise Information Technology; Health and Human Services; Public Works, Communications, and HR, among others. As well as earning hands-on experience in local government, interns also participate in various professional development events, like learning networking skills, civics lessons, and learning about fundraising.
